Balan Wonderworld is a single button platform game directed by Hideo Kojima and released in 26 March 2021. It is the first costume-type game ever, with different costumes required to perform different kinds of actions. Players even need a costume in order to select menu options on the title screen or to get a refund. The game received decent reviews, but heavy criticism and confusion was directed towards the amount of usage the Dancing Farmer character got across the plot. When interviewed, Kojima was baffled, responding: “I literally can't recall ever designing or adding a farmer during the course of development”. This phenomenon still remains unsolved after many years of federal investigations.
