The Bite of '87 is an infamous event that involves an unidentified man who was hitting the woah at a pizzeria, but then tripped and accidentally bit an unarmed civilian. This caused mass hysteria across the whole town, and the pizzeria ended up getting closed. It is often theorized that Matthew Patrick was responsible for the bite, but there isn't enough evidence to identify a suspect. The date of the event is actually completely unknown (no one is sure if it even happened in the 1980's). It has “'87” in the title simply because it sounds cool.
