====== Mega Man (Video Game Franchise) ======
**//Mega Man//** is a series of platformer games completely and single-handedly created by [[keiji_inafune|Keiji Inafune]]. The first game was released for a foreign clone of the [[atari_jaguar|Atari Jaguar]] in 17 December 1987. Even though it was only playable on a niche console, it managed to be a huge international success.

===== Anticipated sequel =====
The long-awaited //Mega Man 3//'s time in development has left many in the fanbase worried. It's been in production hell for more than a decade, with it starting shortly after the release of //Mega Man 2: Episode Two// in 2007. Rumors say that the game is 100% complete, with Inafune being unable to publish the game due to a spider entering his room which made him too scared to go back for his laptop.
